Outrigger Hotels and Resorts has made the
following three promotions to strengthen its sales and marketing
operations in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.
Andrew Gee has been
promoted to regional director of sales and marketing for Australia
and New Zealand. He is responsible for driving the company's
outbound business initiatives from these source markets. He was
formerly director of sales and marketing for Outrigger on the
Lagoon, Fiji. He will be based in Sydney.
Karen Marvel has been promoted to director of
sales and marketing for Outrigger on the Lagoon Fiji and Castaway
Island Fiji, based in Sydney. She was formerly head of sales and
marketing for Castaway Island.
At the same time, Jason Zvatora has been appointed as regional director of revenue and
distribution for Outrigger Hotels and Resorts in Australia and
Fiji. He was formerly in charge of revenue and distribution for
Outrigger on the Lagoon, Fiji. He will be based on the Gold Coast
at Outrigger Surfers Paradise in Queensland.

Outrigger Hotels and Resorts Asia Pacific, said, "Andrew, Karen and Jason have all proven themselves as
motivated performers who have done well for Outrigger in recent
years. Their terrific experience and professionalism will underpin
our continued regional expansion."
Outrigger owns and
manages the Outrigger on the Lagoon Fiji. It purchased Castaway
Island Fiji on 31 January this year.
In Australia,
Outrigger manages five properties: Outrigger Twin Towns Resort on
the Southern Gold Coast; Outrigger Surfers Paradise, on the Gold
Coast; Outrigger Little Hastings Street Villas and Penthouses and
Outrigger Little Hastings Street Resort and Spa, Noosa, both on
the Sunshine Coast; and the Boathouse Apartments by Outrigger on
Airlie Beach.
Gee, Marvell and Zvatora are all Australian
nationals with extensive professional careers in hospitality,
tourism and hotels prior to joining Outrigger.
