Air Astana's Winter Schedule; Airline to Launch Astana - Bangkok Flights

Air Astana has launched its winter schedule which will be effective until 28th March 2015.

International services will be operated to more than 40 cities in 18 countries in Asia, Central Asia / CIS / Caucasus, Europe and the Middle East.

The Central Asia / CIS / Caucasus network now extends to 13 destinations in Russia (Kazan, Omsk, Moscow, Novosibirsk, Samara, Saint Petersburg and Yakaterinburg), Azerbaijan (Baku), Georgia (Tbilisi), Kyrgyzstan (Bishkek),Tajikistan (Dushanbe), Ukraine (Kiev) and Uzbekistan (Tashkent).

The domestic network includes services to 12 cities including Almaty, Astana, Aktobe, Aktau, Atyrau, Karaganda, Kostanay, Kyzylorda, Oskemen, Pavlodar, Shymkent and Zhezkazgan.

The Asian network will grow with the launch of a new service from Astana to Bangkok on 15 December 2014, which is additional to the existing service from Almaty to Bangkok. Frequency on the Almaty to New Delhi service has been increased to seven days a week, with the route now operated on a codeshare basis with Air India. A special prorate agreement enables Air Astana passengers to take flights beyond New Delhi to any Air India domestic destination and seven international destinations.

Air Astana's other codeshare partners include Asiana Airlines, Austrian Airlines, Etihad Airways and Turkish Airlines. The airline also has 96 interline and 39 special prorate agreements with other carriers.
