Fregate Island Private, part of the Oetker Collection, is now available for full island rental for groups of up to 40 people.

Fregate Island Private, located amidst the tranquil turquoise waters of the Seychelles, offers travellers the unique opportunity to enjoy an exclusive private island sanctuary in one of the world’s most picturesque settings.

Situated in the heart of a coral reef ecosystem, the island is a secluded 2.6 sqkm paradise surrounded by crystal clear azur waters that lap seven private beaches.

Dedicated to conservation, Fregate Island Private employs two full-time wildlife conservationists. Through their work, 2,000 Giant Aldabra Tortoises now call the sandy shores home, an incredible success story which saw the colony brought back from the brink of extinction to the second largest in the world after the Galapagos Islands. Over 100 species of birds can also be found on the island, with 13 species taking up permanent residence, including the very rare Seychelles White Eye and the Seychelles Warbler.

Guests opting for the full Island Rental have access to the resort’s 16 private villas that can accommodate up to 40 people and are spread across the island in such a way as to maximize privacy while also providing options for break-out or entertainment areas.

Full island rental costs from around € 61,600 (approximately HK$616,000) per night. This includes all 16 villas accommodating up to 40 people as well as all 7 beaches, amenities and facilities. The island rental package also includes all food and beverages including alcoholic beverages [excluding French Champagne].
