Six Senses Laamu Appoints Katia Cuya as Spa Director

The Six Senses Spa at Six Senses Laamu in the Maldives has appointed of Katia Cuya as Spa Director.

Katia has extensive experience in the spa and wellness field, and has a wealth of knowledge of the Six Senses Spa brand, its standards and concepts, due to her previous tenure as spa manager for Six Senses Spa at Punta Cana Resort & Club in the Dominican Republic.

Throughout her career Katia has been managing leading spa properties in the Dominican Republic and has developed a great passion for perfecting the art of health and wellness. She has also received extensive training in both body treatments and beauty treatments.

For three consecutive years under Katia’s leadership, Leading Spas awarded the Six Senses Spa at Punta Cana Resort & Club “Leading Spa of the World” in 2009, 2010 and 2011.
