Garuda Indonesia has increased capacity on its
Jakarta – Singapore route.
Garuda Indonesia, which currently operates
nine daily flights between Singapore and Jakarta, will deploy its
third 222-seater Airbus A330-200 aircraft on GA 825 which departs
Singapore at 10am.
The aircraft replaces the 162-seater
Boeing 737-800 service, increasing the capacity on the flight by
37%.
“Garuda Indonesia’s flights from Singapore to
Jakarta have always been popular with both corporate travellers
and holidaymakers because of our convenient flight timings and
value added services. This is an important route for us and we
expect to see a continued growth in demand,” said Sentot Mujiono,
Vice President, Region Southeast Asia, Garuda Indonesia.
To celebrate the increase, Garuda Indonesia is running a Business Class promotion
until 22 December
2014. Valid for travel until 23 December 2014, selected return
Business Class flights on Singapore - Jakarta are on sale from
Sin$788.
Plus, through 15 December 2014, travellers can earn bonus
triple GarudaMiles in business class on flights between Singapore
