Archipelago International will open the Hotel Neo Banjarbaru on Indonesia's Kalimantan Island in early 2015.

Kalimantan is the name of the Indonesian region on Borneo Island, neighboring East Malaysia and Brunei.

In the southernmost province, South Kalimantan, Archipelago International will open Hotel Neo Banjarbaru in the developing city of Banjarbaru, closely bordering the capital of Banjarmasin.

Located near to Banjarbaru’s emerging city center and the bustling Martapura Jewelry Market, Hotel Neo Banjarbaru is just 10 minutes from the Syamsudin Noor International Airport.

Each of the 45 guest rooms will feature 32” LCD TVs, 100% cotton bed sheets and duvets, as well as in-room massage services.

Outside of the rooms, guests will find 3 meeting rooms, a coffee shop and complimentary high speed Wi-Fi throughout the entire hotel.

“Here at Archipelago International, we are continually searching for the best locations throughout Indonesia and beyond to launch our hotels. Sometimes these locations are already tourist hotspots, whilst others, like South Kalimantan, are still relatively undiscovered yet show incredible potential for the future. As such, we are extremely proud to be opening the first Hotel Neo in South Kalimantan, and we hope that with our presence, we will help to further boost this promising destination,” said Mr. John Flood – President & CEO of Archipelago International.
