Travel agents who secure a minimum of US$ 10,000
of bookings following a special Khiri Travel familiarization trip
to either Laos and Vietnam, Cambodia and Vietnam, or Vietnam only,
will have their trip costs refunded in full.
The Khiri fam trips
all take place in May and June this year, and travel agents have
three choices:
1) The 9 Day Laos and Vietnam trip for US$
935, with departures on 5, 13 and 21 May 2014
2) An 8 Day
Vietnam trip for US$ 575, with departures on 12 and 19 May and 16
June 2014; or
3) A 9 Day Vietnam and Cambodia combination
for US$ 985, with departures on 12 and 19 May and 16 June 2014.
Prices are for land arrangements (excluding all air fares) and
per person and are valid for bona fide travel agents only. Special
prices are available for accompanying non-travel industry
partners, and rooms are based on twin/double sharing. The refund is
based on the cost of the land arrangement and offered to travel
agents only, conditional on US$ 10,000 worth of sales being
reached.
"We've found that agents who experience the
splendors of the Greater Mekong Region, have competitive advantage
when it comes to selling," said Willem Niemeijer, CEO of Khiri
Travel.
The nine-day Laos & Vietnam trip
visits Luang Prabang, Hanoi and Halong Bay. Highlights include Pak
Ou Caves, Buddhist monk alms processions, an elephant village,
waterfalls and the cultural attractions of Vietnam's capital as
well as Halong Bay.
The nine-day Vietnam/Cambodia combination
visits Ho Chi Minh (Saigon), Phnom Penh, Kep, Rabbit Island
on the Cambodian Riviera, Sambor Prei Kuk and Siem Reap to see
Angkor Wat. The highlights include a cyclo ride in Saigon's Chinatown, the Fito Museum, Reunification Palace and the Cu Chi
Tunnels. In Cambodia, the best of the country's sites are all
here: the Royal Palace, National Museum, Rabbit Island beach
relaxation, the pre-Angkor ruins at Sambor Prei Kuk, and the
majesty of Angkor Wat.
The eight-day Vietnam excursion
visits both the north and south of the country with the best of
Hanoi, Danang, Hoi An and Saigon on show. Highlights are the
Temple of Literature, the old quarter of Hanoi, and a rural
bicycle tour and cooking session with villagers. In Hoi An the
attraction is the Japanese, French and European-influenced history
and trying your hand at the Thung Chai 'basket' fishing boat.
Saigon's Chinatown, the Jade Emperor Pagoda the ornate old Post
Office and the Cu Chi Tunnels are the other highlights.
