with Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hung, Chairman of ThaiVietjet.
This video
was filmed prior to the press conference in Bangkok (on 20
December 2014) to announce the fact that the airline has received
its Aircraft Operator Certificate (AOC) from Thai Authorities.
In this interview you will learn when the airline plans to launch
its first flights, whether it will fly from Don Mueang or
Suvarnabhumi, how many aircraft it plans to have by end-2015,
where it will get the pilots needed and how it will train them.

the press conference, attended by Mr. Nguyen Tan Dung - Prime
Minister of Vietnam, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hung - Chairman of the Board

With a fleet of 19 Airbus A320
aircraft, Vietjet currently operates 130 flights per day covering
30 local and international routes across the country and the
region to Singapore, Thailand, South Korea, Taiwan, and Cambodia.
Nearly 10 million passengers flew with Vietjet in the last
three years.
Thailand's Kannithi Aviation owns 51% of ThaiVietjet.
