Edouard Grosmangin has been appointed as General
Manager of Six Senses Zil Pasyon, located on the private island of
Félicité in the Seychelles and scheduled to open in 2015.
Edouard
joins the resort, following a two-year stint as general manager of
Six Senses Con Dao in Vietnam.
In his new role, Edouard will lead his
team through the critical pre-opening period.
Prior to joining Six Senses, Edouard’s
multi-faceted career in the hospitality sector focused principally
on Europe and the Middle East. He was resort manager at Maia
Luxury Resort & Spa, in Seychelles, which was preceded by his role
as executive assistant manager at The Palace The Old Town in Dubai
and The Ritz-Carlton in Bahrain.
In the lead up years to his Middle East stint,
Edouard’s career covered Hotel de Paris and Hotel Metropole in
Monte Carlo, Hotel Plaza Athenee and the exclusive Hotel de Crillon in Paris.
Six Senses’
President Bernard Bohnenberger, said, “We are delighted to
have Edouard Grosmangin on deck to open Six Senses Zil Pasyon.
Following his time at Six Senses Con Dao, where he became
intimately versed with the Six Senses mission to help people
reconnect with themselves and the world around them, his knowledge
of the Seychelles is a great asset to ensure the success of this
exceptional resort.”
During Edouard’s spare time, he enjoys
travelling with his wife, Katherine. His passion in skiing the
Alps and horse riding in the French countryside has since changed
to fishing and diving.
