Graham Grant has been appointed as General Manager
of Soneva Kiri, a luxury retreat on Thailand's Koh Kood Island.
Graham succeeds Frank Grassman who managed the
resort since 2012.
Graham's preceding post was General Manager at
one of India's legends of luxury, The Leela Palace Udaipur,
Rajasthan, where he focused not only on operations and customer
satisfaction but also on growth strategies.
Prior to Udaipur, Graham worked at some of
the most iconic luxury resorts in his native Australia - Hayman,
Great Barrier Reef in the spectacular Whitsunday Islands, opening
the world's first Palazzo Versace on the Gold Coast, Sheraton
Mirage Port Douglas Resort in the jungles of Far North Queensland,
and Hyatt Regency Sanctuary Cove.
His two-decade career in
luxury hospitality also includes a stint in Scotland, at the
Sheraton Grand Resort & Spa, Edinburgh.
As well as
managing Soneva Kiri, Graham's first order of business is to
oversee operations of the resort's recently-introduced fleet of
private planes and to launch a new Soneva excursion direct from Koh Kood to Siem Reap, Cambodia, where the World Heritage wonders
of Angkor Wat await.
