Pius Luechinger Joins Centara Koh Chang Tropicana Resort as GM

Pius Luechinger has been appointed as General Manager of Centara Koh Chang Tropicana Resort.

Pius is a Swiss national who has a degree in hotel management from Lausanne Hotel School in Switzerland.

With over 20 years of experience in numerous local and international hotels, his overseas postings have included Royal Garden Resort Hua Hin and Imperial Hotel Bangkok, and several hotels in Vietnam and South Korea such as Harbour View Hotel Haiphong, L’Anmien Mui Ne Resort & Spa, and Hilton Gyeongiu, where he was General Manager.

Prior to being appointed as General Manager of Centara Koh Chang Tropicana Resort, Pius was General Manager at Sareeraya Villas & Suites in Koh Samui for the past five years.

Centara Koh Chang Tropicana Beach Resort's 157 rooms and suites are contained in two wings, Superior and Deluxe. The Superior wing features low-rise architecture accentuated by full glass frontages, with the rooms surrounding the swimming pool, while the Deluxe wing uses natural materials and thatched roofs to blend seamlessly with the rustic feel of the ocean-side setting.
