and Lombok as well as Solo in Indonesia.
With the additional routes, AirAsia
will operates direct flights to 17 destinations from Singapore.
Chief
Executive Officer AirAsia Indonesia, Sunu Widyatmoko, said, “We are
thrilled to launch these routes to provide greater connectivity
between Singapore and Indonesia. These routes opening are part of

helped Bali grow into one of the world's favourite holiday
destinations.

city in Central Java and the birthplace of the current president
of Indonesia, Joko Widodo. The city is also a popular destination
for Batik hunters where they can find the best quality of Batik
fabrics and clothing at Pasar Klewer, the biggest textile market
in Indonesia or explore exquisite local culinary at Pasar Legi and
Pasar Kembang.
In conjunction with the two new route launches,
AirAsia is offering an introductory fare of
Sin$ 79 all-in fare, one way, on flights into Lombok and Sin$ 69 on
flights into Solo. The promotion is available for bookings up to 7 December 2014, for travel
between 28
January 2015 and 17 January 2016.
The Singapore-Lombok route will
commence 28 January 2015, while Singapore-Solo route will commence
29 January 2015.
Logan Velaitham, CEO of AirAsia in
Singapore said, “AirAsia is continuously looking at innovative
ways to overcome infrastructure challenges by rotating planes in
our 5 hubs in Indonesia. By doing this, AirAsia can open up more
unique destinations out of Singapore virtual hub and provide low
fares for consumers. This is in line with our strategy of
stimulating new market between Lombok, Solo and Singapore, as well
as our commitment to drive more traffic to Changi Airport.”
