IHG Opens First Holiday Inn Express in Jakarta

InterContinental Hotels Group has opened the first Holiday Inn Express in the city of Jakarta, Indonesia.

The brand new 101-room Holiday Inn Express Jakarta Thamrin is located in the heart of Jakarta’s Central Business District (CBD), close to vibrant shopping and entertainment precincts.

“With 12 more Holiday Inn Express hotels in the pipeline, Indonesia will continue to be an important growth market for us over the next few years. Jakarta sees more than two million visitors each year and is known as one of the region’s top shopping destinations. Getting to Holiday Inn Express Jakarta Thamrin upon arrival is an easy one hour drive from Soekarno Hatta International Airport. For business travellers, the hotel’s location at Thamrin means they will be minutes away from major multinational business headquarters, banks, embassies and government offices.
