AIA is calling all music lovers and running
enthusiasts to prepare to get their fists pumping and their
hearts thumping as it is bringing The Music Run by AIA, an
interactive 5km fun run, to Bangkok, Thailand for the first time.
Slated for 1 November 2014 at Bangkok’s
Suan Luang Rama IX Park, The Music Run by AIA promises a running
experience unlike any other as music fans can walk, run, or dance
through five 1km music zones.
The music zones ‘Rock’, ‘Pop’, ‘Retro’,
‘R&B/ Hip Hop’ and ‘Dance’ all powered by The Music Run by AIA
promises to provide fun for everyone with each zone having its own
unique interactive games and various prizes.
In line with the run’s tagline ‘Your music,
Your beat’, all participants who register can vote online for
their favourite track from each of the 5 music genres. The 5 most
popular tracks from each music genre will then be selected to form
music zone playlists for the actual run.
The Music Run is
owned by Fresh Events Global and promoted by Exceed Sports &
Entertainment. AIA Thailand has come on board as the Presenting Sponsor for the
Bangkok run.
Saloon Tham, CEO of AIA Thailand said, “AIA is
introducing a fun, social, interactive and engaging fitness
concept that is accessible to people of all ages and fitness
levels. We focus very deeply on contributing to the well-being of
people and the partnership is a tangible demonstration of our
commitment to helping people live longer, healthier lives. This
demonstrates our promise as The Real Life Company that brings
together wellness, fun and spirit in this unique running
experience that rewards you in more ways than one! “
The event will also be featuring its celebrities Sheranut Yusanda, DJ Ono, Carla
Porter, Aerin Yuktadatta, and Alex Rendell, Poupee Pathitha
Kanthamara, Danny Blessing, as well as hit band Getsanova members
‘Not’ Panot Khunprasert and Natee Osathanugrah.
As the event
promoter of The Music Run by AIA, Founder and Director of Exceed
Sports & Entertainment Martin Capstick believes that The Music
Run’s combination of music and running form a powerful connection
with today’s modern generation.
“With the resounding success
of The Music Run in Kuala Lumpur earlier in March, we are proud
to be bringing it to Bangkok for the first time,” he said. “Music
and running have always gone hand in hand in a way that allows
fitness buffs and casual runners alike to enjoy running to the
rhythm of the beat. With The Music Run, we are excited to build a
community of Music Runners who we put at the heart of this
experience by inviting them to decide the songs they want to
listen to during the run.”
Unlike other marathons and
themed running events, The Music Run has no time clock which
means anyone of any fitness level can join in the fun and complete
the run at his or her own pace.
The Music Run by AIA will end its programme with
a music festival at the finish zone.
Tickets are
priced at 700 THB. Each participant will receive a running pack
that includes The Music Run by AIA branded Dri-Fit shirt, a
drawstring bag as well as other goodies.
