Asser Samy Returns to Taj Palace Hotel Dubai as DOSM

Rejoining the Taj Palace Hotel Dubai as Director of Sales & Marketing is Asser Samy, a 23-year veteran of the Dubai hospitality sector who previously worked at the hotel as Director of Sales.

An Egyptian national, Asser graduated from Faculty of Tourism and Hotels Management at Alexandria University, and continued his studies with American Hotels & Motels Association.

Asser began his career working for Sheraton Nile Cruises, at the Front Office responsible of processing group bookings and VIP arrivals.

Moving to Dubai in 1991, he joined the Hyatt Regency Dubai at the Front Office, staying with the hotel for 11 years and progressing to Shift Leader, Assistant Manager, Night Manager and Assistant Front Office Manager, overseeing daily operation and a team of 30.

Asser then joined the Renaissance Dubai for four years, becoming Senior Sales Manager, before he transferred to the TAJ Palace Hotel Dubai as Assistant Director of Sales, rising to Director of Sales during his four years at the hotel.

Asser is fluent in Arabic, English and French.
