VietJet has taken delivery of VN-A659, the
second of one hundred Airbus A320s ordered by the airline in
September 2013.
The aircraft were purchased through a financing
agreement with GE Capital in the U.S.A and TPBank in Vietnam.
The
delivery of the single-aisle aircraft brings VietJets current
fleet size to 19, enabling the airline to meet the high travel
demand for the upcoming year-end holiday season.
Since VietJet started its operations three years ago, the
airline has doubled its commercial fleet, resulting in the
transportation of approximately eight million passengers thus far.
The airline currently operates 26 domestic and
international routes.
