Gulf Air is to
increase flights to Kuwait from 40 to 42 flights per week.
The two additional weekly frequencies between
Bahrain and Kuwait will operate on Saturdays and Sundays departing
Bahrain at 13:15 to arrive into Kuwait International Airport at
14:20 and departing Kuwait at 15:05, arriving in Bahrain
International Airport at 16:05.
Gulf Airs Acting Chief Commercial Officer, Mr.
Ahmed Janahi, said, Our
Kuwait-Bahrain route sees consistently high seat factors and in
response to the growing passenger demand, the introduction of two
more weekly flights to Kuwait should reinforce Gulf Airs
longstanding commitment to our valued neighbor. With 42 weekly
flights between Bahrain and Kuwait, travellers from across the
Gulf Air network can take advantage of our fast and easy
connections via Bahrain as we continue to strengthen our GCC and
MENA network. We expect to see continuing strong demand on our
Kuwait route and will continue to cater to our customer base
there.
Building upon a relationship that dates back to
Gulf Airs maiden flight into Kuwait in 1959, the State of Kuwait
remains a strategic destination and market for Bahrains national
carrier.
