Dusit Thani Maldives has completed major
upgrades worth over US$ 1.5 million to its Ocean Villas.
The Ocean Villas provide 180 square meters of
living space and features Balau timber decking in the outdoor
space adjacent to the expansive bedroom.
The Villas boast an innovative range of Kohler
shower heads in the attached open-air wooden deck along with
Dedon’s limited-edition Orbit day beds, designed by Richard
Frinier.
The revitalized look of the Ocean Villas is also
reflected in their façades: new Kajan thatched roofs reflect
traditional Maldivian heritage, giving a distinct character to the
Ocean Villa’s design.
The Ocean Villas encompass a spacious bedroom replete
with modern facilities. From the outdoor wooden deck, a staircase
allows direct access down into the rich coral reef. Guests can
indulge in a decadent bubble bath, recline on a day bed or
blissfully wade in the pool overhanging the crystal waters in
complete seclusion overlooking the Indian Ocean.
The transformation of the Ocean Villas “provides
an unparalleled ocean, reef and lagoon experience,” said Thanos
Lionsatos, Director of Sales & Marketing, Dusit Thani Maldives.
“The holistic sojourn of our guests starts the very moment they
are escorted to their Ocean Villa through a newly revamped
over-water wooden causeway. Once inside the Villas, guests can
sense the perfect play of luxury with subtle Thai touches whilst
enjoying unobstructed views of ocean’s horizon.”
