V Air launched its maiden flights between Taipei
and Bangkok today.
The airline’s first ever flight ZV005 took off
from Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport at 06:40 with a nearly
full load of passengers.
The flight is estimated to arrive at
Bangkok Don Muang Airport at 09:40.
The route will be operated daily, using an
Airbus A321 aircraft.
V Air will also launch flights to Chiang Mai in
the north of Thailand on 7 January 2015.
V Air, which is owned by TransAsia Airways,
currently has one Airbus A321
aircraft with 194 seats, and expects to expand its fleet to a total
five planes by 2015.
