Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa Appoints New GM

The Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa in Australia has appointed Anthony Cleary as General Manager.

In a distinguished 30-year management career, Mr Cleary has led hotel teams and product development in General Manager roles at Thredbo, Perisher Valley, Hamilton Island and Ayers Rock, among others.

“It is great to be back in the Snowy Mountains and I am very excited about my new position at Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa,” said Mr Cleary. “My experience in remote seasonal resorts means I fully understand the dynamic nature of the business; particularly the impact snow conditions can have on future bookings and the need to make the destination have appeal year-round.”

Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa features more than 100 rooms ranging from overwater lake view apartments to mountain-view chalets.

The resort is located on the border of the Kosciuszko National Park and is just 15 minutes from the ski-fields of Thredbo or a 15 minute ski tube train ride away from Perisher Ski Resort. A free shuttle bus takes guests to the ski tube each day as the station adjoins the property.
