Bangkok Airways has confirmed it will soon
launch new flights and add frequency to select regional and domestic
routes.
The new flights include Chiang Mai-Mandalay (3
flights per week), Chiang Mai-Yangon (4 flights per week), Chiang
Mai-Udon Thani (2 flights per day) and Chiang Mai-Phuket (daily
flight).
The new flights will commence on 26
October 2014 and are already open for booking.
The airline will also launch additional flights
between
Bangkok-Krabi (from 3 to 4 daily flights) on 26 October 2014, and on 1 November
its
Bangkok-Chiang Rai flights will increase from 2 to 3 flights per
day.
Bangkok Airways covers ten scheduled domestic
destinations: Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lampang, Sukhothai, Pattaya (U-Tapao), Trat, Phuket, Samui, Krabi and Udon Thani, and thirteen
scheduled international routes: Hong Kong, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Luang Prabang, Vientiane, Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Maldives,
Dhaka, Mumbai, Yangon, Mandalay and Nay Pyi Taw.
Its fleet consists of 26 aircraft: eight ATR72s,
eight A320s, and ten A319s.
