ATR Demonstrates 72-600 Flight Simulator During Singapore Airshow 2014

[HD video below] Captain Herve Barthe, Deputy Head of Training and EASA Flight Instructor/Examiner at ATR's Singapore Training Centre, demonstrates an ATR 72-600 flight on their Singapore-based CAE 7000 Series simulator.

In this quick video you will experience what it is like to take off and land at Don Mueang Airport in Bangkok, and also discover what happens if an engine dies, as well as what that means to the aircraft.

Captain Herve's "co-pilot" for this flight is Passapong Jirawattanasak - Deputy Manager Regional & International, Corporate Communications Department of Bangkok Airways.

The Thai airline signed an order for 6 ATR 72-600s at the Singapore Airshow, those new aircraft will replace the older ATR 72-500s that Bangkok Airways is using.

The flight simulator you can see in this video is the CAE 7000 Series.
