Shangri-La’s Far Eastern Plaza, Taipei, has
appointed Milos Cerovic as Resident Manager.
Born in Serbia, Cerovic is an accomplished hotel
manager with more than ten years of international, multi-brand
leadership experience in hotel operations. Over the years he has accumulated
valuable
management experience at hotels in the U.S., UK, UAE, Israel and
Hungary.
As a former Olympian
of the Yugoslavian Olympic Swimming Team in Sydney 2000, Cerovic
was appointed as the residential service leader for the London
2012 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games. He was entrusted with
managing a residential block with 2,000 rooms and hosting over
3,000 athletes during the Olympic Games. In the world’s largest
sporting event, Cerovic successfully led and trained a team of 90
IHG employees, 200 staff and more than 300 volunteers to ensure
that everything was in place and that all the athletes’ needs were met.
