SilverNeedle Opens Next Hotel Brisbane

SilverNeedle Hospitality has opened the Next Hotel and Lennons Restaurant & Bar in Brisbane.

Next Hotel Brisbane and Lennons Restaurant & Bar is located in Queen Street Mall, one of Australia’s busiest pedestrian malls, in close proximity to the Queensland Performing Arts Centre, Convention Centre and the scenic Brisbane River.

“We are excited to launch the first of our flagship brand, Next Hotels, in Brisbane. This is also the first hotel in Australia where guests, by downloading the Next App, can use their smartphones as mobile keys for their rooms. In another first in Australia, Next Hotel Brisbane provides a Samsung Galaxy S4 phone in every room that guests can access as a wireless hotspot when they are outside the hotel,” said Iqbal Jumabhoy, Managing Director and Group CEO of SilverNeedle Hospitality. “Our dedication to providing innovative service points to our commitment in making time count for our busy guests.”

Another first is that U.S.-based fast fashion giant Forever 21 is locating its first store in Australia in the retail space of the Next Hotel building.

Lennons, as the hotel was fondly remembered prior to being rebranded and redeveloped as Next Hotel, continues its legacy as the modern restaurant and bar featuring Queensland’s best artisanal produce.
