AirAsia, a major official sponsor of Queens Park
Rangers (QPR) Football Club, has flown the team's staff and coach
to Thailand for the first stop of the AirAsia QPR Coaching Clinic
Tour 2014 set to travel across Asia and provide new skills and
training to 12-14 year old footballers as well as to find a
budding star who will travel to the QPR training camp next year.
The first clinic took place in Thailand on Thursday (13 November)
at the Grand Soccer Pro Kaset Navamin pitch, on the outskirts of
Bangkok.
The AirAsia QPR Coaching Clinic Tour 2014, which will be
headed by Mr. Andy Evans, CEO of the QPR Coach Team, will stop in
5 AirAsia destinations: Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Guangzhou, Beijing
and Kota Kinabalu.

Assistant Manager for Sport and Event of Thai AirAsia, said, “The
activity saw sixty 12-14 year olds from a
variety of Thai Premier League football camps, such as SCG-Muang
Thong United, Chonburi FC, BEC Tero Sasana and Customs United. The
youngsters played every position on the field and went through an
entire day of intensive training overseen by the QPR Coaching
Staff.”
Natanan Biasamrit, a 14 year old Youth Football
Player from Chonburi Football Club was chosen to travel to the QPR
Youth Training Camp in England next year.
