Dusit Signs First Hotel in Australia

Dusit has signed its first hotel in Australia.

The Dusit Thani Brookwater Golf & Spa Resort will, in its first phase, offer 168 apartments with private plunge pools overlooking the Greg Norman-designed Brookwater Golf Course.

Also included in the first phase of the resort will be a Recreation Club with beach-style lagoon pools, lap pools, water slides, a gymnasium, a bridal centre and a wedding chapel; a Resort Clubhouse boasting 4 signature restaurants, a lobby lounge, 24-hour concierge services, an executive club, the brand’s own Devarana Spa, al fresco restaurants and food markets, and extensive meetings and events facilities.

Investment in this first phase of the project is approximately A$110m.

Upon full completion, the resort will feature a total of 520 apartments, a tennis stadium equipped to host international tour events, a water park, a retail emporium, an aquatic centre designed to Commonwealth Games standards, and a Convention Centre set to host conferences, exhibitions and events of all sizes, amounting to a total investment in excess of A$550m.

The development is in Springfield, within 20 minutes of Brisbane’s central business district and just 30 minutes from the Gold Coast. Additionally, two international airports are within easy reach of the area.

Dusit Thani Brookwater Golf & Spa Resort is scheduled to open in 2017.
