Dusit Opens First Hotel in U.S.A.

Dusit has expanded its rapidly growing portfolio of hotels around the globe with the opening of a dusitD2 hotel in Pasadena, California.

Set in the midst of Pasadena's central business district within walking distance of many of the city's main attractions, the dusitD2 constance pasadena is the first location in the United States for the Dusit family of hotels and resorts.

dusitD2 constance pasadena is a hotel management contract between operators Dusit International and owners Singpoli Group, a Pasadena and Arcadia-based capital company.

The hotel features 136 guest rooms and suites, as well as a restaurant and bar. Each guest room features an iPad touch system that serves as a virtual concierge and allows guests to adjust room controls, make housekeeping requests, arrange dining reservations and even shop online.

A second phase of the hotel's development, slated for completion in 2016, will include 25 club level guest rooms with a club lounge, a rooftop pool with an outdoor sundeck and pool bar, a fitness center, two boardrooms, and new retail and dining outlets adjacent to the hotel.

In celebration of its opening the dusitD2 constance pasadena has launched a D2 Debut Package with room rates starting at US$205 per night. The deal includes an overnight stay for two, overnight valet parking, and a choice of two small plates at d'bar or D2 restaurant.
