Thailand Lifts Curfew from More Areas

Thailand's National Council for Peace and Order has lifted the curfew in 17 provinces and 15 districts in three provinces.

Currently, a total of 22 provinces and 7 districts in 4 provinces are curfew-free. These provinces grouped in different regions are:

Central: Phetchaburi, Ratchaburi and Hua Hin district of Prachuap Khiri Khan.

North: Mae Hong Son, Tak, Nan, Phrae, Sukhothai and Uttaradit.

West: Kanchanaburi.

North East: Loei, Nakhon Phanom, Roi Et, Sakhon Nakhon and Surin.

South: Phuket, Krabi, Phang-Nga, Trang, Satun, and Hat Yai, Sadao and Mueang districts of Songkhla, as well as Koh Samui and Koh Phangan districts (including Koh Tao) of Surat Thani.

East: Chanthaburi, Rayong, Trat and Pattaya City of Chonburi.

Thailand has 77 provinces.

The curfew from 00:00 until 04:00 remains in all other parts of Thailand, including popular tourist destinations such as Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai and of course the capital city - Bangkok.

The whole country is still under a state of martial law.
