Japan Airlines (JAL) today expands its codeshare
cooperation with Finnair (AY), and British Airways (BA) between
Helsinki and Riga in Latvia (operated by AY) and between London
and Budapest in Hungary (operated by BA).
JAL has marketed AY-operated flights between
Helsinki and Tallinn (Estonia) and between Helsinki and Vilnius
(Lithuania) since this spring.
With the addition of Helsinki - Riga, the
airline will provide customers improved accessibility to all
countries of Baltic States with JL-coded flights.
Meanwhile, JAL also expanded its codeshare
cooperation with British Airways on BA-operated flights between
London and Budapest.
The airline has 33 codeshare routes with BA and
AY respectively within Europe after adding those new codeshare
flights.
