Daydream Island Resort and Spa Appoints Grace Lassig as Director of Sales

Daydream Island Resort and Spa in the Whitsundays has appointed Grace Lassig as Director of Sales.

Grace joins the 296-room Daydream Island from the Novotel Cairns Oasis Resort where she was Director of Sales and Marketing.

She has more than 10 years experience in sales and business development roles within the hospitality industry in Australia and New Zealand.

Grace previously held roles at Mirvac Hotels and Resorts (Far North Queensland), Hideway Resorts (Dunk Island and Bedarra Island), The Westin Auckland and Sheraton Noosa Resort and Spa.

“We are delighted to welcome Grace to the team at Daydream,” said Daydream Island CEO, Phil Casey. “Grace’s extensive experience representing a range of stunning properties in Queensland, including some island resorts, is going to be invaluable for the growth of the business. She brings a broad range of experience across our key leisure, conferencing and events markets, and will complement the strong sales and marketing team in our Brisbane office.”

Grace replaces previous Director of Sales Suzy Bohan who has left Daydream Island to be with her young family full time.
