[HD video below] Thai AirAsia X has taken delivery of its second
Airbus A330-300 aircraft.
The 377-seat plane, with 12 Premium
Flatbed seats and 365 economy class seats, will be used to fly
daily direct flights from Bangkok Don Mueang International Airport
to Seoul Incheon International Airport (ICN) starting from 17 June
2014.
Two upcoming destinations later this year
include direct flights from Bangkok Don Mueang (DMK) to Tokyo
Narita International Airport (NRT) and Osaka Kansai International
Airport (KIX).
Thai AirAsia celebrated the delivery with a
religious plane blessing ceremony at Bangkok Don Mueang
International Airport. The event was attended by Nadda Buranasiri,
Chief Executive Officer of Thai AirAsia X, the senior management
team, and staff members.
The AirAsia X Group has ordered 57 aircraft in
total, they are scheduled to be delivered by 2019.
