The South Beach, a brand new 654-room Philippe Starck-designed
hotel in Singapore, has joined Preferred Hotels
& Resorts ahead of its opening in the second quarter of 2015.
The hotel is located in the
heart of the city, adjacent to Esplanade MRT Station, just minutes
away from the city’s busiest financial, cultural, shopping and
entertainment districts. It is connected to Suntec
Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre via an aero-bridge.
“We are delighted to welcome The South Beach as
a member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts. This landmark property
will prove to be one of the best independent hotels to open in
Asia in recent years. With a unique hospitality concept, The South
Beach will pave the way for change in this already dynamic
industry. We look forward to working closely with The South Beach
team, leveraging on expertise from both sides, as well as
Preferred Hotel Group’s global distribution network, to contribute
to the success of this new Singapore icon upon its opening in
2015,” said Mr. Anthony Ross, Executive Vice President, Asia
Pacific, Middle East and Africa.
The South Beach will be one of the few
hotels in Singapore to offer an exclusive Ladies’ Floors,
which boasts additional security features and specially curated
amenities and services just for women.
In addition to the hotel’s all-day dining
restaurant and three bars, The South Beach beings nature closer to
guests thanks to its two lush Sky Gardens, each
with a stylish decked pool.
The South Beach’s pillar-less ballroom and
19 meeting rooms will provide state-of-the-art facilities and
equipment for any type of meeting or social event.
As a member of Preferred, all guests of The South Beach will
be eligible to enroll in the iPrefer guest loyalty program, which
extends points redeemable for cash-value Reward Certificates,
elite status, and special benefits such as complimentary internet
to members upon every stay at more than 500 participating
Preferred Hotel Group locations worldwide.
