Rolf Jan van Zeyl has been appointed as general
manager of the Hilton Alexandria Corniche.
Rolf brings 15 years of
hospitality experience to Alexandria and, in this, his first
general manager position for Hilton Worldwide, he will manage all
hotel operations with a focus on enhancing the presence and
profile of Hilton Alexandria Corniche.
The hotel is relatively new
to the Hilton Worldwide Egypt portfolio having recently enjoyed a
significant renovation before opening as a Hilton Hotels & Resorts
branded property in 2013.
Prior to this new role, Rolf enjoyed a varied
Hilton Worldwide career across many different operational markets
including Holland, Croatia, Lebanon and Egypt, where he previously
served as F&B Manager at Ramses Hilton in Cairo. He also held the
position as Middle East & Africa F&B Operations Manager at Hilton
Worldwide’s area office in Dubai.
Rolf’s return to Egypt has been warmly welcomed
by Christian Muhr, vice president, operations for Hilton
Worldwide, Egypt & Levant, he said: “I am delighted to welcome
