Finnair to Launch Seasonal Flights to Athens, Dublin and Malta

Next summer Finnair will add seasonal services to Athens, Dublin and Malta, with timetables designed for optimal connections with Finnair's network of Asian destinations.

Flights to Dublin will begin on 30 March, while flights to Malta will commence on 2 April and Athens on 5 April.

Service to all three destinations will last until late October.

Dublin (DUB) will be served six times a week, except Tuesdays, with 100-seat Embraer 190 aircraft operated on behalf of Finnair by Flybe Finland.

Flights to Malta International Airport (MLA) near the Maltese capital Valletta will be operated two times a week, on Mondays and Thursdays, with Airbus A321 Sharklet aircraft.

Athens (ATH) will also be served twice a week, on Wednesdays and Sundays, with Airbus A319s or A320s.

"With these new destinations we are responding to growing demand, particularly from Asia, so timetables for each of these new routes are tailored for the best possible connection to Finnair's Asian flights," says Petri Vuori, Finnair's VP Global Sales. "At the same time of course our Finnish and Baltic Rim passengers will also be able to enjoy what these fascinating destinations have to offer."
