OrientSkys, a private jet charter network with
head offices located in Bangkok, Thailand, has entered into a
strategic business alliance with Beijing Airlines (formerly Air
China Business Jet).
Under the agreement, OrientSkys will act as an
agent for Beijing Airlines, securing charter contracts from its
customer base outside of China and providing priority to Beijing
Airlines fleet for any charters within the People’s Republic of
China.
OrientSkys will also provide sales, marketing
and business development services within South East Asia, Europe
and the United States.
“Not only will this agreement give OrientSkys’
international customers operator direct pricing from the only
Wyvern safety audited business jet operation in China, but Beijing
Airlines’ customers will immediately be able to benefit from
OrientSkys’ global network for their jet charter needs in the
U.S., Europe and the Middle East…this is a win-win for both
OrientSkys and Beijing Airlines,” said Trevor Merszei, Chief
Operating Officer for OrientSkys.
As a subsidiary of Air China, Beijing Airlines
was established in November 2003, and engages in aircraft
management, private jet charter and ground handling services.
With a fleet of ten business aircraft
under management, Beijing Airlines operates a Challenger 605, a
Gulfstream G450, a Bombardier Global express XRS and a 28-seat
Boeing Business Jet for charter, with more aircraft expected to
come online shortly.
