Plaza Premium Lounge is celebrating its 15th
anniversary with the unveiling of new expansion plans.
In the coming months, Plaza Premium Lounge will
expand its operations in India. The company will see a lounge
expansion in New Delhi’s Terminal 3 Domestic Departures, as well
as a pay-in lounge in Mumbai and a major expansion to its transit
hotel in Hyderabad.
In Bangalore, the company is building two pay-in
lounges at the Bengaluru International Airport to be opened by the
end of this year, one for Domestic Departures, the other for
International Departures, and Bangalore’s first-ever transit
hotel.
Earlier this year, Plaza Premium Lounge added
Malaysian destinations Kota Kinabalu, Kuching and Penang to its
list of international airports as well as Edmonton in Canada.
It has also had major expansion in Toronto
Pearson and opened Wellness Spa, the world’s first airport organic
spa, in Singapore Changi Airport.
The company is also opening a new flagship
lounge at Hong Kong International Airport. This new flagship
facility will offer even more interactive services, new dedicated
lounge areas to accommodate all kinds of travellers, a modern
lounge menu and value-added facilities aimed to maximise the
comfort and convenience of travellers.
“Our company prides itself on creating premium
airport services that exceed travellers’ expectations,” said Mr
Song Hoi-See, Founder & CEO of Plaza Premium Lounge Management
Limited. “The flagship lounge in Hong Kong International Airport
reflects our thorough understanding of travel trends and customer
behaviour. Over the last 15 years we’ve continually explored new
improvement opportunities to enhance the traveller’s airport
experience.”
Plaza Premium Lounge Management Limited will
also open new lounges in Macau, London Heathrow and Kuala Lumpur
International Airport’s new terminal, KLIA2. The company’s
management wing will also expand its international portfolio to
cover Sydney. Emphasising the company’s bold expansion strategy,
Sydney marks Plaza Premium Lounge’s debut into the Australian
market while London Heathrow represents the company’s first
European location.
“By 2015, we will add 50 new locations in
existing and new airports around the world. We will look to expand
in Mainland China, Asia, Middle East, Europe and North America,”
said Mr Song.
