Dusit Opens Regional Sales Office in Japan

Dusit has opened a new Regional Sales Office in Tokyo, Japan, one of the group’s largest source markets.

Operations will be led by Mr Keita Sekine, Regional Director of Sales and Marketing - Japan, Dusit International.

With over fifteen years of operational and sales experience, Mr Sekine was most recently Director of Sales with Mandarin Oriental, Tokyo, and with Marriott International at the Guam Marriott Resort and Spa in Tumon, Guam.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the University of Nevada - Las Vegas, USA.

“Opening a Regional Sales Office in Tokyo demonstrates our commitment to the Japanese market,” said Mr Sekine, Regional Director of Sales and Marketing – Japan, Dusit International. “We look forward to building on the deep relationships the company has developed over the years, as well as to the successful opening of the Dusit Thani Guam resort in 2014.”

Completing the sales team is Mr Shuichi Ueda, Director of Sales – Japan, Dusit International.

Mr Ueda joins the Tokyo office as a transfer from his previous post at Dusit Thani Manila, Philippines, where he was most recently Assistant Director of Sales, overseeing Japanese corporate and leisure accounts.
