Banyan Tree Group will tomorrow (27/4/2013) celebrate the Grand
Opening of Laguna Lăng Cô with a weekend event organised by the
management of Laguna Lăng Cô, joined by high profile government
officials, celebrities, and VIP guests.
The 280-hectare
community, which marks the first project in Vietnam for Banyan
Tree Group, is framed by a three kilometre beach overlooking the East Sea - an area renowned for its
pristine coastline, natural scenery and proximity to UNESCO World
Heritage Sites.
The development echoes the ethos of Laguna Phuket,
Banyan Tree's flagship integrated resort community in southern
Thailand, and is nestled in a unique crescent bay, offering both Banyan
Tree and Angsana branded hotels and spas, an 18-hole championship
golf course designed by Sir Nick Faldo, private villas and
residences available for sale, convention facilities and a
plethora of recreational activities.
Phase 1 of the Laguna Lăng Cô project represents a US$200 million investment
funded through the Banyan Tree Indochina Hospitality Fund, the
first real estate investment fund established by the group in
2008.
“The Grand Opening of Laguna Lăng Cô is an
important milestone for Banyan Tree, as it is one of our Group’s
largest developments and inaugural establishment in Vietnam,”
said Mr. Ho KwonPing, Executive Chairman of Banyan Tree Holdings, Ltd. “With natural beauty and rich historical
attractions, Central Vietnam is a perfect destination to replicate
the success of our flagship integrated resort in Phuket. We are
pleased to be the first to unveil this unique destination as a world-class integrated resort featuring premium private properties
for ownership for both domestic and international luxury tourism.”
The Grand Opening of Laguna Lăng Cô will be
officiated over an eventful weekend from 26 to 28 April 2013. The highlight of the
event will be the Grand Opening Ceremony on 27 April 2013 which
will be held at Angsana Lăng Cô. This event is considered a grand
finale to a series of successful events which has been organised
recently, including the Official Opening Event of Laguna Lăng Cô
Golf Club held on 17 March 2013, and the inaugural
Laguna Lăng Cô
Triathlon, on 14 April 2013.
