Hong Kong Disneyland Resort will tomorrow (27
March 2013) change its ticket prices.
Under the new pricing, a
1-Day General Admission Ticket (aged 12-64) will be HK$450 and a
1-Day Child Ticket (aged 3-11) will be HK$320; whereas a 2-Day
General Admission Ticket and a 2-Day Child Ticket will be HK$585
and HK$415 respectively. All types of admission tickets for senior
guests aged 65 or above will remain unchanged.
To give travel agents sufficient time to
communicate the new pricing to their clients and make any
necessary arrangements, Hong Kong Disneyland’s travel agent partners will
be able enjoy the current
prices for General Admission and Child Tickets until 30 June
2013.
A Hong Kong Disneyland spokesperson said, “Like
any business, we evaluate and adjust our pricing based on a
variety of factors. A ticket to Hong Kong Disneyland represents
great value, particularly after new investments have been made to expand the park.”
The opening of the one-of-its-kind Grizzly
Gulch last year and Asia’s first Toy Story Land in 2011 have
proved to be very popular among local and overseas guests. Mystic Point,
another first in the world, will open in May 2013.
With the
opening of these three new themed areas, the park size will be
increased by almost one-fourth and the total number of attractions
and entertainment offerings will go up to more than 100.
The
spokesperson said, “Hong Kong Disneyland is committed to creating
magical experiences and extending great value for guests through
our evolving product offerings. We will continue to work closely
with the travel trade to develop business opportunities and
achieve win-win partnership.”
