SilkAir, the regional wing of Singapore
Airlines, will be making network adjustments during the Northern
Winter operating season (27 October 2013 - 29 March 2014),
comprising capacity increases on several routes and reductions on
others.
Frequency will be adjusted on selected
services between Singapore and points in Cambodia, India,
Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia and Thailand.
An additional service will be introduced to Siem
Reap, Cambodia, increasing frequency to 11 flights per week from
10, while in India, services between Singapore and Visakhapatnam
will go up from three to four times weekly, subject to government
approval.
In Malaysia, Kuching will be served four times weekly from
the current thrice-weekly flights.
In the Philippines,
services to Cebu will increase from daily to eight times weekly
while for Davao, from five to six times weekly.
In Vietnam,
frequency will be upped for both Danang - from six flights per
week to daily, and Hanoi - from thrice to four times per week.
Meanwhile flights to Solo, Indonesia, and Phuket, Thailand
will be reduced to twice weekly and 30 times weekly, respectively.
