Malaysia’s five-star Sama-Sama KL International
Airport hotel has signed up with Pegasus Solutions for a complete
suite of distribution and reservation services.
The flagship property of Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad’s new Sama-Sama brand, a dedicated airport hotel brand, has
adopted Pegasus’ UI chain code for international sales support,
and will leverage online and mobile site design and booking
solutions from Pegasus’ Open Hospitality division.
Boasting 442 rooms across nine floors, the
Sama-Sama KL International Airport hotel is in the final stages of
an extensive renovation set for completion this March. In addition
to modern and contemporary styling within the guest rooms, Sama-Sama
will unveil an updated and more effective online and mobile
presence from Pegasus.
“Pegasus was
the obvious choice to provide the immediate global sales support
and distribution booking solutions for this important hotel under
our tight timeline,” said Hans Winsnes, President
of Sama-Sama Hospitality Management. “In launching the Sama-Sama
brand, we have sought out the best providers in terms of the
systems that are essential to driving guests to our brand. Through
the team’s excellent support and expert guidance, Pegasus has
brought us an integrated range of distribution platforms to
establish our presence in the managed travel space. Additionally,
Open Hospitality’s up-to-date solutions like compelling custom
website design and mobile tools will help deliver the global
traveler on the move.”
The Sama-Sama
KL International Airport hotel is located at the KL
International Airport, and is connected to the airport via skybridge. Soon, it will be joined by two airport transit hotels
at KLIA and klia2 which will be called Sama-Sama Express KLIA and
Sama-Sama Express klia2 respectively. Both properties will also be
using Open Hospitality for web services.
“We are
honored to have been selected by Malaysia Airports as their
distribution and sales partner to support the launch of the Sama-Sama brand globally,” said Rachel Grier, senior vice
president, Asia Pacific and the Middle East for Pegasus Solutions.
“Malaysia Airports owns 39 airports in Malaysia, and has
aggressive growth plans over the coming year in the airport hotel
space, which we’re eager to support to ensure the brands’ ongoing
success.”
