French aircraft maintenance company Atlantic Air
Industries has joined the MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul)
network of turboprop aircraft manufacturer ATR.
Atlantic Air Industries operates a
maintenance station at Toulouse-Francazal airport that specializes
in the heavy maintenance of ATR airframes.
Germany's Rheinland Air
Service also recently joined the MRO network, the two companies
serving the European market. ATR's existing partnership with
Fokker Services handles the Asian market.
“It is very important to support our operators
as they grow, by also providing assistance and advice in the field
of aircraft maintenance. The development of this network of
ATR-approved centers fits in perfectly with our wish to guide our
operators towards maintenance centers, like AAI, that are well
experienced with our aircraft,” said Lilian Braylé, ATR's Product
Support and Services Senior VP.
Presently, some 60 airlines operate over
320 ATR aircraft in Europe.
