Korean Air will increase the frequency of its
‘Transit Exclusive Domestic Flights’ between Gimhae International Airport (Busan) and Incheon
International Airport (Seoul) from 3 to 4 daily flights starting
31 March 2013.
Korean Air will deploy 4 Boeing 737NGs (Next
Generation) aircraft on this route and will operate one flight in
the morning and three flights in the afternoon.
Only passengers departing from Gimhae International
Airport to transit at Incheon International Airport, and those
arriving at Incheon airport transferring to Busan can
use these flights.
The Transit Exclusive Domestic Flights differ
from other domestic flights as they are operated as international
flights, and passengers who take the Transit Exclusive Domestic
Flights are not required to pass through immigration or customs.
Additionally, passengers can check in their baggage to Busan.
With the increase in frequency of the ‘Transit Exclusive
Domestic Flights’ passengers arriving at Seoul and going onto Busan have additional connection options.
