[HD video below] Aston International has renamed itself
Archipelago International.
The new corporate legal entity will serve as the
groups umbrella organization and be the name of the hotel
management company behind all of its existing and upcoming hotels
and resorts.
While the Aston label continues to grow, other brands such as the select service favehotels and the
new 4-star Alana Hotels, which is due to open its first
Indonesian Hotel in Seminyak, Bali, in February this year, now
represent more than 50% of the Archipelago Groups future hotel
portfolio.
Archipelago International is one of Indonesias largest
hotel management companies. It has a presence in Indonesia, the Philippines and Malaysia,
with an underlying portfolio of more than
140 hotels, resorts and residences out of which 60 are operational and more than 80 are in various stages of development due to open
within the coming two years.
Archipelago International
managed hotels range from select service to five-star hotels and
luxury villas and operates under the hotel brands: Grand Aston,
Aston, Aston City, Crimson, Quest, favehotels, NEO, Alana and
Kamuela.
With Archipelago, we have the intention of
creating a platform that allows each brand to showcase and
highlight its individual hotels and enables different
personalities to shine. From our select service favehotels to the
5-star Grand Astons and luxurious Kamuela Villas our aim is for
each hotel brand to be recognized as best in class and to exceed
guests expectations in accommodation, amenities and personal
attention, said Norbert Vas, Vice President Sales & Marketing, Archipelago International.
