ATR has signed a new contract with DHL for the
worldwide management of its stocks of spare parts.
In accordance
with the agreement, DHL will be responsible for the worldwide
distribution of spare parts via five logistics platforms operating
on four continents.
The contract also includes management by DHL
of customs clearance formalities for ATR parts and equipment.
Lilian
Braylé, ATR Senior Vice President Product Support and Services,
said, “Since 2005 the number of ATR
operators has increased by more than 50% and we are now present in
over 90 countries. We need to support this growth with a customer
service that is perfectly adapted to the particular requirements
of airlines. The signing of this “Fast Track” contract with DHL is
in line with this logic of service excellence.”
