Tourism New Zealand has partnered Singapore
Airlines for a new campaign highlighting New Zealand as the
ultimate destination for family holidays.
The campaign invites
families, couples and independent travellers to the South Island
for a 100% Pure New Zealand experience.
Families can look forward
to learning experiences such as stargazing and farm stays, while
food and wine connoisseurs can go on a gourmet road trip. Sports
enthusiasts and nature lovers can try the amazing walking trails
in the varied coastal and mountain landscapes of New Zealand,
while movie buffs can tour filming locations for The Hobbit and
Lord of The Rings.
“New Zealand is a wonderful destination and
offers a wealth of experience to travellers. We are pleased to
work with Tourism New Zealand in this new campaign to encourage
Singaporean families to travel more and discover New Zealand’s fun
and exciting activities and extraordinary landscapes,” said Lim
Meow Seng, Area Vice President Singapore, Singapore Airlines.
According to Mischa Mannix-Opie, Tourism New
Zealand’s Regional
Manager for South and Southeast Asia, New Zealand is a popular
destination for Singaporean travellers. “New Zealand is known for
its stunningly beautiful landscapes and the South Island of New
Zealand totally delivers on these. Singaporean visitors not only
enjoy the scenery but also the many activities there are to do in these landscapes. We hosted 35,968 visitors to New Zealand in the
year ending January 2013 and on average the Singaporean visitor
spends over 12 days with us. They really do make the most of what
New Zealand has to offer,” she said.
The new campaign,
which runs until 16 April 2013, offers not-to-be-missed
deals ranging from Sin$938 for 6 days/5 nights South Island
self-drive holiday to Sin$1,898 for 7 days/6 nights South Island
tour.
