Air Astana Increases Frequency Between Almaty and Hong Kong

[HD videos below] Air Astana, the flag carrier of Kazakhstan, has increased the frequency of its service between Almaty and Hong Kong.

The additional third frequency is now operated on Sundays, together with existing Tuesday and Friday services.

Flights will be performed by Boeing 757-200 aircraft configured with 166 seats in a two class layout.

The flight duration from Almaty to Hong Kong is 6 hours and 10 minutes.

The Hong Kong service was launched on 28 August 2012 and within six months, the airline had carried over 10,000 passengers and more than 185 tones of cargo on the route.

Air Astana is a joint venture between the National Welfare Fund Samruk – Kazyna JSC and BAE Systems PLC, with respective shares of 51% and 49%.
