Le Méridien Chiang Rai Resort Appoints Stephen Morahan as GM

Le Méridien Chiang Rai Resort has appointed Mr. Stephen Morahan as General Manager.

In his new role Stephen will assume overall responsibility for the resort’s operation, including directing all business functions of the 5-star resort by the Kok River.

A native Australian with extensive experience in hotel operations, Stephen’s career has incorporated both luxury and select service properties.

Over his almost 20 years of career in the hospitality industry, he has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and experience working with Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Hyatt and the InterContinental Hotels Group through to smaller boutique organizations.

Prior to joining Le Meridien Chiang Rai Resort, Stephen held the position of Executive Assistant Manager of the Starwood owned and flagship property, Sheraton on the Park in Sydney Australia, and more recently Hotel Manager of the Westin Siray Bay, Phuket, Thailand.
