The Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport
Board of Directors has approved Sean Donohue as the airport's next
Chief Executive Officer.
Donohue is currently Chief Operating
Officer of Virgin Australia, headquartered in Brisbane.
The new
appointment is subject to execution of a definitive employment
contract and Donohue is expected to assume the DFW role in
October.
Donohue brings with him more than 25 years
of airline and operational experience to Dallas/Fort Worth
International Airport.
He will succeed Jeffrey P. Fegan, who
announced his retirement in January after 29 years of service, the

"The DFW Board faces one of the most important
decisions in its history in choosing a successor to Jeff Fegan,"
said Robert Hsueh, Chairman of the DFW Airport Board of Directors.
"In selecting Sean Donohue, the Board realized that he embodies
the visionary qualities and leadership we value in the chief
executive role for the Airport."
