The Westin Bund Center Shanghai has received
HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) certification.
The certification involves a full food safety
audit assessing all documentation and on-site food safety
standards, and the hotel receives the certification only when it
is in full compliance with the international CODEX principles of
HACCP.
“We are truly delighted to have earned this food
safety certification. With the HACCP certification, our guests and
employees are assured of the highest level of food safety when
dining with us,” said Andreas Trauttmansdorff, General Manager of
The Westin Bund Center Shanghai.
The HACCP certification at The Westin Bund
Center Shanghai was conducted by The Environmental Health
Consultancy (EHC), a private and independently owned food safety
consultancy that has been in operation for the past 13 years based
in Australia.
